I got the opportunity to receive an ARC of this book. I am so excited to share my thoughts with you and hope you give this book a try..This book continues with the Mousai story. This is the third book in the series, but it’s a standalone for the third sister. The oldest sister. She has been in love with her childhood friend and he her, but sharing that love with the world is not an easy task for her to do. She’s the oldest. She has responsibilities. She can’t have distractions. Along the way a new task tests everything she’s ever wanted. Will their love survive?.This has got friends to lovers, some found family, and unexpected friendships. It’s got more magic, tricks, and action. I loved this story being the oldest of three myself. I felt a lot of her feelings at times. I absolutely loved Zimri, our MMC, in this story. Getting his POV was like the taste of chocolate melting in your mouth. He is still a stupid man at times, but I loved experiencing his story too. Both of them have journeys they need to work through, so getting to read them both was amazing. Also, there is some spice! This is definitely a slow burn, so there isn’t a ton. But when it arrives it will make you melt..“Interesting people do not come from easy living”Arabessa glanced over to him, and he hated how soothing it was to meet her gaze. Home, his magic spun in his veins. Symphony for a Deadly Throne (The Mousai) ePUB Online Download france livre I enjoyed this third and final book of the three-part series; however, it differed significantly from the other two books.This book's theme centered around Arabessa's internal struggle/development and her love relationship with Zimri, making it more character-driven than the previous two books.While the other two books also centered around one of the sisters, they each had a rich variety of secondary characters introduced through action-packed plot lines. The first book's stolen magic/evil Duke plot-line and the second book's infamous pirate/jewel of Esrom plot-line also showcased more parts of the world (Aadilor) that the author did an excellent job of building.The focus on one character and one place is not a negative. It just makes for a very different book. The author devoted more time to delving into the inner workings and magic of the Thief Kingdom, which was very interesting and very well done. The time spent on Arabessa's internal struggles with concepts of duty to family vs. self-fulfillment and the loneliness of responsibility led to a more reflective book. The simpler story-line allowed for more attention to Arabessa's and Zimri's relationship, which had been hinted at in the other two books.Overall, I suspect that readers who liked the first two books for the romance will like this book more, and readers who liked the action and variety in the first two books will like this book less. Each sister in the Mousai wholeheartedly deserved their own book; there is growth, struggles, challenges, friendships, and such bonds that all deal with more than just romance formed in these stories; all readers will feel the emotions being pulled out of them because, yes, I physically cheered, gasped, and 100% cried in this book specifically more than the others. (Perhaps it is because I relate most to this Arabessa.) But the fact remains: all characters are worth wild and deserve each written page that was given to them!The character development was there, the artistic and skillful words were there, the well developed plot was there, and most importantly—the magic was there!There really is no other series like The Mousai.Thank you SO much E.J. Mainly because I loved it so much and couldn't find the right words to do this book justice.If you know me at all, you know how much I adore the Mousai series by EJ Mellow. Symphony For A Deadly Throne is the 3rd book in this standalone series and I must say it lived up to my expectations. Perfection!!!! Although book 2 is my favorite overall, this book was easily just as great. How is this series so underrated?!This book is all about the oldest sister Arabessa and her father's right hand man, the amazingly handsome Zimri. Arabessa is struggling to find balance between the love of her life and the duty to her family's kingdom. The way Arabessa and Zimri are emotionally involved had me in a chokehold! I love that we also get to see more of the Thief Kingdom.Symphony For A Deadly Throne gives you the deadliest & fiercest women while giving you that cozy and dark fantasy mixture that EJ Mellow writes so well.
